Design

DESIGN - using the latest computer aided design facilities, detailed layout drawings (full colour plots) for co-ordination/installation are prepared of the system complete with calculations, charts, printouts etc. All you have to do is provide us with suitable plans or sketches of the building concerned together with certain other information and criteria perhaps specific to your project.


Supply

SUPPLY - accurate material take-off ensures non-shortages when delivered to site for installation. Invariably, the necessary materials are transported by us to site on the same day depending on size and nature of the installation. Any loose components for fitting by others are signed for by the Customer and left somewhere secure on site.


Installation

INSTALLATION - a D.C. Sales and Sons Ltd installation team normally consists of two sometimes three men, fully trained and versed in the work they are instructed to undertake. As an add-on service in the case of underfloor heating, both the interface “hook-up” plumbing and electrical wiring can be carried out either at the same time or soon afterwards. The installation team will liaise with all necessary site personnel and follow the relevant Health & Safety guidelines, thus ensuring a smooth and trouble free installation process.


Testing and Commissioning

TESTING & COMMISSIONING - a post-installation site visit is included free of charge in order to check-over, set-up and balance the completed system. It is also a good opportunity to verify that the interfacing of other site services has been carried out correctly. The most up-to-date instrumentation is employed in this specialised task including digital infrared readers (laser guided) multi-meters and other commissioning equipment.


Troubleshooting and Faultfinding

TROUBLESHOOTING & FAULTFINDING - like all mechanical and electrical systems these can sometimes go wrong or develop faults which requires an experienced and trained Engineer to trace/diagnose. These can vary immensely from controls failure to simple fatigue (wear and tear). The discipline of faultfinding and rectification is one of our fortes for which we have an excellent reputation.


Maintenance

MAINTENANCE - this service can be provided either in the form of reactive emergency call-outs and/or planned preventative in accordance with an Annual Service Agreement. Even in the first year of service the installed system(s) must be maintained properly. It makes good housekeeping sense and most certainly prolongs the operational life of your system (and investment)!


Repairs

REPAIRS – repairs essentially go “hand-in-hand” with the maintenance aspect. With a 24-hour emergency service available and a healthy van stock, we can attend to any situation night or day. Downtime of the system concerned is thus kept to an absolute minimum meaning you get back to normal with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience.


Management

MANAGEMENT - once a contract is awarded or an official order placed with us the job is managed efficiently and professionally from start to finish both in the office and at site level. Staff are familiar with all contractual matters/issues and can attend team, design, and progress meetings at your request for which there is no charge (within reason).

TECHNICAL RESOURCES - here in the Rye main office flourishes a wealth of catalogued and archived information backed-up by all the manufacturers we deal with. D.C. Sales and Sons Ltd can also provide a Consultancy service giving professional advice, investigations, reports, surveys etc. plus we have the added experience of Expert Witness legal work.
